Selected work

The work is organised around the three types of AI change: helping people work with AI, rebuilding processes around it, and turning what a business does into an AI product. Alongside it sits the large-scale delivery that underpins it: governed programmes, many stakeholders and services that have to keep running.

Organisations are described by type rather than by name.

AI work

Marketing SME · Type 01: AI adoption

From first steps to staff building their own tools

Took a business from ad hoc AI use to governed, everyday use, through an introduction to AI for everyone, an AI council and small-group sessions that grew from chat tools to coding agents.

Around 85% of staff use AI weekly, and over half have built their own AI tool

Marketing SME · Type 02: Agentic workflows

A secure AI contracts store that files itself

Staff email a contract to one address. The system reads it, categorises it, files it securely and indexes it for search, with access restricted by team.

100+ contracts in one secure, searchable place, used every day

Marketing SME · Type 03: AI products

An agentic localisation pipeline: brief to 96 files in 30 minutes

Designed and led the build of a multi-agent pipeline that turns a creative brief into localised assets for multiple markets, guided by expert rules and human sign-off.

Working prototype: 6 markets, 3 formats, 96 files in about 30 minutes

Delivery at scale

UK policing digital body

Taking over a multi-agency programme

Took over a five-organisation programme assessing the move of 15 critical policing systems from central government to the direct control of policing.

£1m+ first-year budget approved, a further £2m+ secured

Why it matters for AI: Aligning many organisations behind one plan is the same skill distributed AI governance depends on.

UK national law-enforcement agency

Rescuing a stalled service transition

Took over the agency's first move to a multi-supplier IT model, more than a year late, and got it live.

£3.2m projected cash-releasing benefit over 7 years

Why it matters for AI: AI workflows only deliver if they are transitioned and run as a managed service, which is exactly what this was.

UK government department

Removing technical debt from a government application estate

Set up and ran the programme to move 200+ applications across the department and three of its agencies out of legacy data centres and into the public cloud.

£124m of cash-releasing savings in the programme benefits

Why it matters for AI: Running a large portfolio with business cases and benefits tracking is how AI use cases move from ideas to measured value.

UK environmental regulator

A cloud and IoT telemetry service for 5,500 sites

Moved a national telemetry service, which collects flood and weather data from 5,500 field sites, to mobile IoT communications on AWS, starting with a proof of concept and then a live project.

Over £5m project value, projected yearly saving of over 30%

Why it matters for AI: Prove one step, then scale. The same approach takes AI from prototype to production.

Three UK government agencies

A first for UK government: a fully cloud-based mobile device service

Designed and built a cloud mobile device management service for over 20,000 users across three agencies, replacing BlackBerrys with iPhones.

65% licence discount, 30% lower support costs

Why it matters for AI: Rolling new technology out to 20,000 people across three organisations is the same challenge as enterprise AI adoption.
